Maranyundo All Girls School
The Maranyundo All Girls School is an independent boarding school for approximately 200 middle students and 200 high school students, located in Nyamata, the the Bugesera District of Rwanda.
The school was founded on the belief that all children, no matter their personal circumstances, can achieve excellence. And they have. Within a few years of its opening in 2008, The Maranyundo Girls School – which accepts half its students from economically vulnerable families — has achieved national standing as one of the top schools in the country.
WACRIA Chapter at Maranyundo
WACRIA encourages the formation of student groups at middle, high schools and universities and is committed to developing these groups as a way of encouraging students to invest in the African woman and child. The goal of the student group at Maranyundo is to get members involved in community mobilization, create a community of their own and help them build leadership skills that will be valuable as they move into the professional world.
